The US State Department has approved a $93 million sale of Javelin anti-tank missiles and Excalibur guided artillery rounds to India.
According to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), India requested 216 Excalibur rounds and 100 Javelin systems. The DSCA said the sale supports US foreign policy goals and strengthens India as a key defense partner in the Indo-Pacific and South Asia.
RTX will supply the Excalibur shells, while Lockheed Martin will provide the Javelin missiles.
