Two US military Osprey aircraft made emergency landings at Matsumoto Airport in Japan’s Nagano Prefecture, temporarily disrupting air traffic. The landings occurred at 15:00 and 15:30 local time, with one aircraft departing shortly after. The runway was closed for about 1.5 hours, affecting some flights. The aircraft were affiliated with Futenma Air Base in Okinawa. The cause of the emergency landings remains unclear, and an investigation is underway.
