A US military plane, likely an F35, crashed near Albuquerque International Sunport Airport in New Mexico. The Albuquerque Fire Department stated that the pilot, the only person on board, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller expressed gratitude to the emergency teams for their swift response, saying, “We are grateful to the teams that reached the scene for their quick intervention. We pray for the pilot.”
Kirtland Air Force Base, located near the airport, confirmed the crash. A detailed investigation has been launched.
