US President Joe Biden made statements regarding the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who died in the prison on the Yamal Peninsula in Russia yesterday. Expressing that Navalny’s death made him outraged but not surprised, Biden said he held Putin responsible for the incident. Describing the statements made by Russia as a ‘story’, the president described Navalny’s death as “another proof of Putin’s brutality”.
