The US military said it targeted a boat suspected of drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea, killing three men described as “narco-terrorists.” US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said the strike was carried out under Operation Southern Spear.
SOUTHCOM stated that intelligence indicated the vessel was operating along a known drug route and linked to a group identified as a terrorist organization.
