The US Supreme Court announced that former US President Donald Trump’s appeal against the ban that prevents participating in the next primaries was accepted. The case will be heard on February 8.
The Supreme Court banned Trump from the primaries after far-right groups and Donald Trump supporters raided the Congress building on January 6, 2021, during the session where Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election would be certified. He was suspected to have been involved in the attack, which killed five and injured many others.
