A video of the attacker who stabbed a police officer on Istiklal Street in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, Türkiye this morning, openly threatening another police officer, posted on his social media account several months ago, has emerged.

In the video, the attacker challenges a police officer, whom he says has slandered him and said he was posing danger to children during a body and belonging search, to a duel, saying that he did not do anything to him because there were other officers with him. He also says that he was carrying a knife and drug in his backpack.
