Authorities have issued warnings to the regions around the El Salvador’s Chaparrastique Volcano due to eruptions since Sunday.
The Ministry of Environment of El Salvador stated that the intensity of the explosions in the volcano, that also spewed stones and ash around the crater, was measured as 1 out of 8.
Authorities prepared 26 shelters for more than 10 thousand people in case of an evacuation order.
Egyptian media reports that ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are set to resume next week. Israel is awaiting Hamas’s response to the ceasefire offer.
Israeli and US delegations, who were in Doha for negotiations, have returned home for consultations. The current agreement being discussed includes the exchange of hostages and prisoners, with plans for further talks on a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages.
