A building was heavily damaged in the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on October 30, 2020 in Izmir, Turkey, and it was decided to be demolished. The building was intended to be demolished in a safe, guided manner with construction equipment yesterday, however the building collapsed completely shortly after the initiation of the process. As the building collapsed, a cloud of dust covered the surroundings.
On the other hand, the building collapsed with a loud noise, causing the residents of the neighborhood to panic, while many citizens reacted to the images shared on social media.
