Yılkı horses, known for their timidity, were filmed with a drone on the plateaus in the Boldavin interior of Afyonkarahisar, where they roam in search of food on hot summer days.
Yılkı horses were used by the cavalry units of the Ottoman period but were released to nature as they were of no use in agriculture.
A full moon rising over Lake Van in the Ahlat district of Türkiye’s Bitlis province created a breathtaking spectacle as it reflected off the calm waters. Locals and visitors gathered along the lakeshore to witness and photograph the scene, with many describing it as an unforgettable moment.
Nature photographer Şahin Şerefoğlu, who captured the moonrise at Ahlat Pier, said, “We’re in one of the most beautiful places to watch the full moon. We invite all nature lovers to experience this view.”
Travelers from other regions, including Şanlıurfa, also came to enjoy the view, turning the lakeside into a popular spot for moon gazing and photography.
