The wildfires in the north of Greek island of Evia that started last Tuesday got out of control. Due to inadequacy and late intervention of the firefighters, the remained residents of the island took action and joined the extinguishing efforts. More than 2,000 residents have been evacuated so far. The situation is critical due to the worsening weather conditions on the island where more than 460,000 acres of land have burned, and 300 families have been left homeless.

Russia attacked Kharkiv with 17 drones in 9 minutes, killing 3 and injuring 65, including 9 children. Fires broke out and buildings, homes, and transport were damaged. Ukraine said Russia launched 85 drones overnight, 40 of which were shot down.
