Rize held the 8th version of their Winter Swimming Festival near Galer Düzü Plateau in Çamlıhemşin district, located at an altitude of 1,700 meters, this year. More than 60 people swam in the ice-covered Galer Lake, which measured at 0 degrees.
“I participated for the first time last year, and this year I am participating for the second time. Everyone should experience this ambience,” said Gizem Bekiroğlu.
