A 52-year old professor at the North-Eastern Federal University Department of Chemistry in Yakutia was mauled to death by dogs after she went on for a walk. The police and ambulance arrived in the area after the incident. As a result of the examinations, it was revealed that the professor’s body had been bitten by dogs in several parts, and she died as a result of severe blood loss.

Yakuts Mayor Yevgeny Grigoriev announced that a state of emergency has been declared in the city, and that work to collect the dogs by teams has begun.
