The world-famous Altınbeşik Cave, which overflowed and was closed to visits after the heavy rain last week in Antalya, Türkiye, was reopened to visitors after the water returned to normal and was cleaned.

“We have completed the necessary work on the road and entrances of our cave. We reviewed our security measures. We completed the necessary work by checking the lighting systems inside the cave and reopened it to visitors,” said İbradı Municipality employee and cave manager Ulaş Ünlüsoy.

The turquoise lake of Altınbeşik Cave is the third largest underground lake in the world and the largest in Europe and Türkiye.
