An unexploded World War II bomb was found on train tracks 2.5 kilometers from the Gare du Nord train station in Paris, the capital of France, at around 04:00 local time, causing disruption in the rail services.
All services passing through the station were halted and efforts to defuse the bomb were initiated, said French police.
French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot announced that only limited service would be provided in the afternoon.
