Chinese President Xi Jinping was officially welcomed in Hanoi by Vietnamese leaders at the start of his Southeast Asia tour. A 21-gun salute marked his arrival at the Presidential Palace, where he met with Communist Party General Secretary To Lam. Xi is expected to sign 40 cooperation agreements during his two-day visit. The tour will continue in Malaysia and Cambodia.
