Various entertainments were organized for young earthquake survivors who went to the Iğdır province with their families after the earthquakes that occurred in 11 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş in Türkiye to help improve their mental health. During the ‘Children’s Festival’ program held in the city today, the young survivors celebrated the Nowruz holiday and had the opportunity to enjoy themselves. As part of the celebrations, the children cracked painted eggs and watched a show prepared by the narcotics and bomb disposal dog teams.
“We came from the central district of Kahramanmaraş. Our house was damaged in the earthquake; it was not destroyed, but it was damaged. My family stayed there; my father, grandparents, grandmothers, and other relatives are still there. I now live here with only my mother and siblings. We have fun, drink, and eat here, and I am happy,” said Beytullah Işık.
