An orphan stork, named Avşarlı, was found starving and dehydrated in its nest in Aydın, Söke. Ecosystem Protection and Nature Lovers, the association that found the stork, fed and treated the animal and released it. However, the loyal stork came back to the location 3 days later it left. Having been informed about the stork, the association visited the stork again. After feeding the young stork again, they released it back to a natural habitat in Bafa Lake. The stork flew for its freedom once again.
“Three days after its leave, we received a notification from our neighbor that a stork was looking towards us on the hotel just behind us… Avşarlı, watching the customers by the pool on the highest floor of the hotel, came to us immediately, making noises as it saw us. We fed it with the fish we brought with us.”
