Aerial images of Zor Castle in Iğdır, located at an altitude of 3,000 meters in eastern Türkiye, have revealed previously unknown settlement areas at its summit. The historic site, which overlooks the Zor Valley, has been damaged by treasure hunters. The ruins are still visible, but experts are calling for an archaeological investigation to uncover the castle’s history. Recently, Zor Castle has become a popular destination for mountain climbers, offering both historical insights and breathtaking views.
