EU’s Borrell Highlights Severe Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza

EU High Representative Josep Borrell announced no progress in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, where over 8,000 children under five face severe malnutrition. At an EU Council press conference, Borrell emphasized that despite international support, including from the EU, a ceasefire remains elusive. He noted, “Three weeks after Biden’s proposal, we have made no headway. The recent press conference by Netanyahu indicates a lack of willingness to implement a ceasefire. The humanitarian situation is truly catastrophic.”
