A total of 110 students at the Juana de Asbaje middle school, between the ages of 12 and 14, were hospitalized after getting poisoned by drugs in the Chipas state of Mexico. Having used cocaine, the students arrived at the hospital with the symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and fainting and their drug consumption was confirmed after the blood results came out. One of the students was intubated and has a serious condition.
The school principal stated that the students who got involved in the incident will be expelled as the drugs are estimated to have been brought by the students themselves. Chiapas’ Ministry of public announced that the incident will be investigated.
