Protester dies in reoccurring Mahsa Amini protests in Iran

A protester died during the Mahsa Amini protests that broke out again in the Senendec city of Iran. Iran’s Kurdistan Province Police Chief Sardar Azadi said that the protester, who was found dead in their vehicle, was killed by separatist and anti-regime groups.

Stating that anti-regime and separatist groups interfered with the demonstrations and targeted the activists, Azadi said, “We have seen similar scenarios before. In the cities of Saqqiz, Divandere and Dahgan, separatist and anti-regime groups had similarly killed four demonstrators,” he said.

Iranian state television announced that 41 people lost their lives in the protests that started across the country on September 17. On the other hand, according to Iran’s Human Rights Organization, at least 185 people have died in the protests so far.
