On the 16th day of the Israel-Hamas conflict, the 3rd convoy carrying aid sent to the Gaza Strip from around the world crossed from Egypt to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Border Gate. The UN officials announced that supplies and aid, such as food and medicine, carried by 14 trucks, were received by the Palestine Red Crescent and the United Nations Relief Agency for Palestine Refugees. It was reported that there was no fuel in the aid convoy.

It was stated that 100 trucks must pass through the border daily to meet the needs of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Türkiye has delivered 101,271 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza since Israel’s attacks began on October 7, 2023. Under AFAD coordination and with support from ministries and NGOs, 14 planes and 16 ships carried vital supplies, including food, medicine, and shelter. Aid included 65,273 tons of flour, 25,180 tents, 53 ambulances, 8 field hospitals, and thousands of hygiene kits, water, and clothing. The ongoing blockade and bombardment have created a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with urgent needs for shelter, food, water, and medical support.
