A new archaeological discovery was made during excavations in the Ancient City of Amastris in Bartın province of Türkiye. Authorities announced that a Nymph (water nymph) statue, thought to date back to the 2nd century AD, was found at a depth of 3 meters in the ancient city, located in the Amasra district. The well-preserved 1.53-centimeter-high nymph statue caused excitement in the city. The antique nymph will be exhibited in a museum.
