The Balıkesir province of Türkiye hosted the 2023 Europe Triathlon Sprint & Relay Championships in the mall named ‘Avlu’ for the last three days. A total of 700 athletes from 32 different nations participated in various competitions, and more than 2,000 visitors visited the city to watch the races. The triathletes were awarded prizes at a ceremony held at the end of the event.

“It was a good organization. We are proud to host our athletes and guests in such an organization in our Avlu,” said Yücel Yılmaz, Balıkesir Mayor.
