220 soldiers released in Russia-Ukraine prisoner exchange

As a result of the new prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, 220 soldiers were released. Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced that a total of 130 Ukrainians were taken back by Russia. Yermak stated that 126 of the 130 people who were taken back were soldiers of the their army and 4 people were civilian guards. “All of our heroes should know that our state values them,” he said.

“90 Russian soldiers in danger of death have been brought back from the territory under the control of the Kyiv regime,” said the Russian Defense Ministry. It was reported that the recovered soldiers were taken to the capital Moscow by plane belonging to the Russian Air Force and that the soldiers would be given medical and psychological support.
