The case where three French policemen were charged with applying extensive force on Theo Luhaka, a black male in his early 20s, during an identity check in 2017 was heard at the criminal court in Bobigny. The three officers were sentenced to 3, 7, and 12 months in suspended prison.
The brutal intervention of the officers left the young man handicapped.
