A fire broke out on the tourist boat carrying 29 people off the coast of Marsa Alam, on the Red Sea coastline of Egypt. Twenty-six people, 12 of whom were British, were rescued, but three British tourists are missing. A search-and-rescue operation has been initiated to find the missing tourists.
Initial reports have revealed that a short circuit was detected in the engine room of the boat.
