Four skeletons found in an ancient cist during the excavations in Perrhe Ancient City of Commagene Kingdom, located in Adıyaman, Turkey. Having been one of the three excavation areas in Nekropol, that was discovered in 2009, the excavation site with mosaics revealed some ancient remnants this year. A 150 square meters wide, partly deformed mosaic and a sepulcher adorned with eagle figured embossments were discovered in the area.
The cist lid, weighing nearly 2 tons and measuring 1m in width, 2.1m in length, was opened by excavators and other workers. There were no valuable items stored in the tomb.
