After the 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan on June 22, which killed more than a thousand people, an aftershock occurred in the east of the country on June 24. The Afghan Ministry of Health announced that 5 people died and 11 were injured due to the aftershock. Authorities reported that all government agencies and local and international non-governmental organizations are working together to fight against the earthquake. The government announced that 50 thousand Afghan Afghanis will be given to every person injured by the earthquake and stated that humanitarian aid continues to be sent to the people.
