6.9 magnitude earthquake hits Taiwan

An earthquake with 6.9 magnitude occurred near Taitung city in Taiwan at 14:44 local time. Having reported the 6.9 magnitude earthquake, United States Geological Survey has not reported any death incidents yet. The earthquake occurring 10 kilometers below surface level lasted for 20 seconds. The tremor was experienced in many cities around, including the capital, Taipei.
