The 6th version of the World Motorcycle Championship, Motofest Festival, started yesterday in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye. The adrenaline will skyrocket in the training and qualifying rounds of the Motocross shows that will be held tomorrow. Motorcycle teams from 40 countries of the world will fiercely compete on Afyonkarahisar track, where winners will be awarded. Approximately 500 thousand visitors are expected to attend the festival this year.
“The festival is attracting an incredible interest. There are nearly 40 teams from abroad and nearly 120 athletes. There is incredible work in the paddock field. On Saturday we will open with the training ranking tournaments of the World Motocross Championship. We will also have final races on Sunday,” said Mahmut Nedim Akulke, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation.
