A passenger bus overturned near Tila city in the Mexican state of Chiapas. After the accident, many ambulances and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. Chiapas state civil defense officials announced that 28 passengers on the bus were injured and 9 people died. The teams announced that the injured were rescued with the help of the people around the area and taken to the Tila City Hospital. It’s learned that the condition of the 3 injured is serious. Authorities stated that 13 ambulances and 2 helicopters from the Red Cross and other institutions were sent to the area to transport the injured to the hospital. It’s reported that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the steering wheel as a result of the slippery road due to rain. The Chiapas State Attorney General’s Office announced that an investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
