On Saturday, a dragon boat race was held on Jarun Lake in Zagreb, Croatia, as part of festivities organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb to celebrate the traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. The event drew a large number of locals, particularly Chinese language students.
The Chinese festival, which is also celebrated in many other countries, has a history of almost 2,000 years.
