The number of people who died in the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Al-Huz region of Morocco is increasing. The Moroccan Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the number of people who lost their lives due to the earthquake reached 1,305, and those injured reached 1,832. It was reported that the condition of 1,220 injured people was critical. Authorities estimate that the death toll will increase further. It was reported that there was a food shortage in some damaged areas.
