A powerful storm brought chaos to the city of Worms in Germany’s Rhineland-Palatinate state. A 43-year-old person who was riding a scooter died as a result of a lightning strike, according to police. Streets and some basements in the city were flooded, leaving vehicles stranded on the roads.
