Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii Erupts Again

Kilauea Volcano in the US state of Hawaii continues to spew ash and smoke. The volcano spewed lava to a height of 10-15 meters, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). Around 5,000 people visit the park each day to observe the eruptions, authorities said. Geologists wearing protective equipment collected lava samples from the volcano, which erupted for the third time this year.

Hawaii Emergency Management announced that the lava flow from the volcano did not pose a danger to the local people and warned that the resulting ash and smoke could cause respiratory disorders.
