After the water level of the Karakurt Dam in Kars, Türkiye dropped to 25 meters after its gates were opened, the old Karakurt village was revealed once again. The mosque, church, historical buildings, and village houses that came to light were photographed with a drone.
The old village was flooded after the Karakurt HEPP Dam, built on the Aras River, retained water on February 8, 2020.
