Hamas’s armed wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced that “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” was launched against Israel and 5 thousand rockets and mortars were launched against military bases in the first 20 minutes. Hamas officials called on all Palestinians to join the operation. As a result of rocket attacks, a woman in her 70s and at least 4 people in Kuseife died in the Gderot region of Israel and many people were injured.
The death toll from Russia’s overnight missile and UAV attacks on Kyiv has risen to six, Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed. Thirty-five people were injured as Russian forces targeted energy sites, civilian infrastructure, and residential areas.
