On the 26th day of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the loss of 9 soldiers in a ground operation in the north of the Gaza Strip. This brings the total number of soldiers killed in the operation to 11. The soldiers died under different circumstances, including an anti-tank missile attack by Hamas, an explosion involving their tank, and two soldiers suffering serious injuries.
Since the conflict began on October 7, the number of soldiers killed in the Israeli army has risen to 326. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant expressed condolences and described the losses as a heavy price for the gains achieved through the operation deep in the Gaza Strip.
