The new funds will support long-range missile systems. If approved by the Bundestag, Germany’s total military aid to Ukraine in 2025 will reach €9 billion.
Pistorius emphasized that Ukraine’s fight is for all of Europe’s security. Despite repeated Ukrainian requests, he firmly stated, “The answer to your question about Taurus missiles is no.” Meanwhile, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz previously indicated openness to sending the long-range missiles.
