President Erdoğan Praises Naval Parade as a Symbol of Türkiye’s Heritage

In a historic event for the Turkish navy, a grand ceremony called “100 Ships in the 100th Year” featured the passage of a fleet of ships through the Bosphorus. This event involved 100 warships and nearly 8,000 personnel from various parts of Türkiye. The parade was meticulously planned and executed by multiple naval commands, according to officials. The ships, led by Türkiye’s largest warship, TCG Anadolu, included a diverse array of vessels. Notable participants included Türkiye’s first national frigate Istanbul and an aircraft with short-runway landing capabilities. President Erdogan praised the parade, highlighting its significance in reaffirming Türkiye’s commitment to its heritage and independence.
