South Koreans celebrated the passing of the opposition’s impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk Yeol, who previously declared martial law on the grounds that “the opposition is carrying out activities against the state,” in front of the National Assembly in Seoul.
The motion passed with 204 positive votes against 85 negative votes in the South Korean Parliament.
