The Israeli army attacked the “Conscience,” a humanitarian aid ship from the Freedom Flotilla group en route to Gaza, in international waters off Malta. The ship was reportedly hit by a drone overnight, causing a fire and a breach in the hull, endangering its ability to stay afloat. Malta confirmed all 30 people onboard were safe and dispatched firefighting and patrol vessels. The incident comes as Gaza remains under an Israeli blockade since March 2, with aid severely restricted.

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians took to the streets after Friday prayers to protest Israel’s recent attacks on the country. The largest gatherings occurred in the capital, Tehran, where demonstrators marched following prayers at Tehran University.
High-ranking officials, including Iran’s Constitutional Court head Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei and former IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, joined the protest. Participants waved Iranian, Palestinian, and resistance group flags, and trampled on Israeli and US flags laid on the ground.
Protesters held banners reading “Down with Israel”, “Down with the US”, and “The Zionist regime will be destroyed”, while chanting slogans such as “We stand behind our leader”, “Everyone who clashed with Khamenei will eventually be destroyed”, and “Our right to nuclear weapons”.
