US Vetoes UN Ceasefire Resolution On Gaza

The United States was the sole country to veto a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the release of hostages held by Hamas. Fourteen of the Council’s 15 members voted in favor.
