Trump Announces First Phase of Gaza Peace Peace Plan Approved

US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas have approved the first phase of the Peace Plan aimed at achieving lasting peace in the Gaza Strip. Posting on Truth Social, Trump said, “All hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw its troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps toward a strong and everlasting peace.” He thanked mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye for their role, calling the deal “a historic and unprecedented event.” Earlier, Trump had expressed optimism about the talks, saying he might visit the Middle East soon, adding, “The likelihood of an agreement is very high.”
