Pakistan’s Sharif Meets MBS in Saudi Arabia

 

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a two-hour meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to discuss regional security and a potential US-Iran ceasefire. During the talks, Sharif expressed deep condolences for the lives lost in recent Iranian retaliatory attacks and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom. He also briefed the Crown Prince on the latest developments regarding peace negotiations recently held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Highlighting their strong bilateral ties, Sharif praised Saudi Arabia’s crucial support for Pakistan’s economic stability and emphasized their shared strategic defense partnership. Following his diplomatic engagements in Jeddah, Prime Minister Sharif will continue his regional tour with official visits to Qatar and Türkiye.
