Overnight Russian missile and drone strikes across Ukraine have left at least 17 people dead, including a 12-year-old child, and dozens more injured. The deadly attacks targeted civilian areas and apartment buildings in multiple regions, including Odessa, Kyiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russian forces launched approximately 700 drones and numerous ballistic and cruise missiles, though air defenses successfully intercepted a large portion of the projectiles. Condemning the bombardment as a war crime, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha urged the international community to take immediate action and accelerate sanctions against Russia.
