Breathtaking exercise by SAT team in Libya

As part of the Flintlock-2026 Exercise, ‘Helicopter Rope Descent Training’ and ‘Ship Seizure and Confiscation Training’ were conducted jointly with Libya. The Ministry of National Defence, in a post on its social media account, stated that they combined their joint exercise capabilities with the Libyan government, saying, “The Flintlock-2026 Exercise, which brings together special forces elements of friendly and allied countries, continues to improve joint operational capabilities as well as providing strong support for Libya’s sovereignty and independence. In the naval phase of the exercise; on April 18, ‘Helicopter Rope Descent Training’ was conducted at the Sirte Naval Training Area with the participation of the SH-70 helicopter and the Special Operations Team (SAT) on board the TCG Gelibolu frigate, and on April 19, ‘Ship Seizure and Confiscation Training’ was conducted with the participation of the SAT team and Libyan personnel.”
