Activists Prepare Land Convoy to Gaza

Amidst these final preparations, the group celebrated a deeply personal milestone when Uruguayan activist Mathias Alvarez formally converted to Islam, taking the name Atallah. Alvarez revealed that watching videos of Palestinians praying amidst the rubble deeply moved him, inspiring a two-year journey of studying the Quran. He described his conversion as a profound spiritual awakening, expressing gratitude that it culminated alongside a community so dedicated to reaching Palestine.
